What a great day, chock-full of so many helpful tips, all thanks to Google’s March GA4 updates!
First, check out User Access Management for Analytics Features in Google Ads. In the next few months, there will be even better integration between Google Ads and Analytics, specifically to facilitate creating more effective audiences in Google Ads (read the whole update to get all of the details).
To make this possible, they have created a new model for cross product access management in Google Ads.The Google Analytics admin can assign roles to the different permissions in Google Ads (e.g. Administrator, Standard, Read only). The assigned roles will determine access to Analytics features embedded into Google Ads, such as creating Analytics audiences from within Google Ads. Lastly, and most exciting, you can now CREATE CUSTOM CHANNEL GROUPS – either starting from scratch or using the existing channel groups as a starting point.
