‘(He never plays) as good as he should’.
A random comment from a conversation with Mellow Milo (our media-man-about-town) regarding Bill Murray’s performance in charity golf tournaments. Of course, this was not an insult to Bill Murray (because who would EVER insult Bill Murray), just more about how he always makes sure the tournaments are fun for him and everyone else at the tournament, as you can see.
But the ‘as good as he should’ stood out to me as a good saying for 2020. Nothing has been ‘as good as it should’ this year. But, if we can take Bill Murray’s lead, at least we may have been able to have a few laughs (especially seeing that picture of young me in a sweater)!.
