I know there is a lot of fake news out there (so much content – a topic for another day). But last week when I saw this headline, I was flabbergasted.
Only 27% Of Marketers Are Very Familiar With Contextual Advertising, Study Shows
So I bookmarked it to be today’s post. And then today I actually READ the article. And…I appreciate any research. But when I read the survey size, I had to take a step back.
By 27%, it means 27 people. Again, I am not trying to be snarky. But I just don’t feel that is a significant sample size to be touting 27% of marketers.
For some reason that fact’s simplicity and understatement (or perhaps overstatement) reminded me of the part of Kumail Nanjiani’s ‘Cyclone’ bit (you really should watch the whole thing), but this is what it reminded me of:
