Not to pat myself on the back. But I think a few of these were spot on. Maybe they manifested themselves slightly differently – 3rd party cookies getting kicked down the road a bit – Ecommerce ad are actually now mainstream Retail Media.
Excuse me! What I mistakenly called ‘Ecommerce Ads’ are actually ‘Retail Media Networks.’A channel that is used by 35% of advertisers surveyed for ‘Advertiser Perceptions’ Digital Advertising for Retail Report – 2020‘.
And it may not be too late to start advertising on a marketplace for the holidays. Think about sites like Walmart, Rakuten or Overstock to really WIDEN the bottom of your marketing funnel. (More on this soon, I promise).
