METRIC MIKEY’S TUESDAY TIP
So, I guess I am a little stuck on the Path Analysis report in GA4. One super cool thing you can do with the report – especially since one option is seeing the reverse path (how someone got to the page, as opposed to where they went from the page),is to create some troubleshooting reports.
If your site is tracking error pages (400 errors), which is not ‘out of the box’ functionality, but many companies do (here’s how), you can create a report for each error page and use the reverse path to step back to the pages where the errors occur. In doing this, you find pages on your site that have broken or invalid links. Voila!
Score another one, GA4!
